As you meander through these pages you will find beautiful hooked pieces, some of which are art for the floor and some of which are meant to be art for the wall. Some of these are created from patterns designed by talented artists such as Deanne Fitzpatrick and the late Pearl McGown and Edith Dana. Some are adapted from photographs with permission, and some are original designs by the artist, Cheryl Orcutt.

Pieces considered to be rugs for the floor are made with 100% wool, both new and recycled. Wallhangings may be a mixture of materials, including wool strips and/or yarn, fleece, silk, nylon, and synthetic fibers. We try our best to use American made fiber, although some of the recycled silk and linen come from abroad.  All natural fiber has been hand dyed by Cheryl.

Hooked On Art offers custom original designs which could emerge from a client’s vision or we can create an original design for a specific purpose or location. A spectacular wall hanging to provide a focal point or a piece to commemorate an event or place are all possible.  Additionally, there are hundreds of patterns produced by excellent designers which a client may like made for her/his home or office. These can be customized by interpreting color, texture, and technique in a myriad a ways. Hooked on Art is one of the few sources for large sized custom hand made rugs made in America.
